I have been with the City of Antioch for 20 years. I currently hold a Water Distribution Operator II / Collections Maintenance Worker I certificate. I'm also the City's Cross Connection Control Specialist as well as a Backflow Tester. I have worked on dig crews for distribution and collections. I've been on emergency standby requiring me to work within the guidelines for damage prevention including contacting agencies needing to mark my dig site. Currently I train new employees how to read our utility GIS system to correctly mark the City's utilities as well as how to use the USA North 811 Pelican portal. With being the Senior Distribution Public Works Technician, I advise homeowners the steps on creating a ticket before any property work is started.
