Biography
I am the manager of the Damage Prevention department at NV Energy. My department is responsible for ensuring compliance with “Call Before You Dig” Law and quality checking the accuracy of our locate vendor’s utility markings. We compile reports to identify trends and make data driven decisions in an attempt to lower our chances of experiencing a strike to the system. We keep public safety and grid reliability at the forefront of our operations. I currently serve is the chairperson of the Nevada Regional Common Ground Alliance (NRCGA) Board of Directors. Prior to moving into this role, I have many years of experience in both utility construction safety and claims investigation. Originally from the biggest little state in the Union (Rhode Island), I came to Nevada in 2013 in pursuit of warmer temps. I have hung up my snow shovel and have no immediate plans to live anywhere cold again! I miss the oysters, but not the blizzards. I hold a B.A. in English Literature from Assumption University in Worcester, MA (GO HOUNDS!) and an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University – Shreveport. My favorite movie is Tommy Boy and I love astrology.
