Mike Marrero

Mike Marrero, USIC Operations Regional Director for the western U.S., began his 30-year career in damage prevention as a field technician, gaining locating experience in 36 states and two Canadian Provinces. Mike serves as President of Nulca's Board of Directors and served for five years as the locating stakeholder representative on the USA North 811 Board for Nevada. He is a member of the Common Ground Alliance, serves on its Education and Marketing Committee, and has been actively involved with the CGA Regional Partners in Nevada, California, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Indiana. Early in his career, Mike was involved in managing the International Utility Locate Rodeo during its inception and served as master judge. Mike served as a medic in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years and is a veteran of Desert Storm.
